I will invoice the company and pay your earnings when the company pays me, minus the 10% fee.
  • Corporate Training Rates: US$700 to US$2,000 per half-day as a training, depending on your talent as an effective speaker and trainer. You may also consider speaking for free at community events in your city, such as Rotary International or the Chamber of Commerce; in exchange, ask them if you can have yourself filmed to use the video for your speaker’s video to present to prospective companies.
  • Online Training rates are slightly less, US$500 to US$700 per half day. A half-day is considered three and a half hours. You may not train for three and a half hours, but you will be available for questions and answers, networking, or private coaching as part of that half-day rate. You may also mix topics like teaching Dining Manners and Small Talk. Communication skills, managing teams, and creating ethics pledges are all stand-alone topics requiring the entire half day.
  • Value-added Services: Offering additional services such as follow-up webinars, Zoom calls, or additional coaching sessions can justify higher fees. Your fees should reflect the value you bring to the organization and the impact of your training or speaker engagement on their business practices.
  • Speaker Fees: US$2,000 to $5,000 for a keynote address at a conference or convention. A major keynote address is generally 40 minutes to 50 minutes. They appreciate it when you stay after the keynote to answer questions. I also suggest you offer to sit on a panel for free if it is the same day you speak.
  • Corporate Coaching: US$200 to US$500 per hour, weekly appointments on the phone or over Zoom with a minimum of 90-day commitment. This fee is based on your experience as a business coach. Your goal is to groom and guide people in the corporate environment in communication, relationship building, and leadership.

Travel Expenses: These fees typically include airfare, mileage, accommodation, and meals.

  • These are standard reimbursement practices:
  • Airfare: You will be reimbursed for economy round-trip tickets from the speaker’s home to the event location, often capped at the advanced purchase rate.
  • Mileage: personal vehicle mileage is reimbursed at US$0.50 per mile.
  • Accommodation: Up to two hotel nights, typically at the conference hotel, are reimbursed at the group rate.
  • Meals: A fixed daily meal allowance, often around US$50 per day, is standard.
  • Miscellaneous Expenses: Additional fixed allowances may cover local transportation, tips, and other minor expenses varying from US$60 to US$140 based on the number of presentation days.
  • Always confirm specific terms with the event organizer before the engagement.
